PB Aquatic Opens The Exchange Of Candidates For General Chair

JAKARTA The Indonesian Aquatics Executive Board (PB AI) has started to open the stock exchange for general chairman candidates for the 2025-2029 term of service which will be selected at this month's National Conference (Munas).

The PB AI National Conference is planned to take place in Jakarta on March 14-16, 2025. One of the main agendas of this activity is the election of the new general chairman as the management of Anindya Bakrie for the 2021-2025 period ends.

"The term of service for the management of Anindya Bakrie has ended, so according to the organization's AD/ART, a National Conference must be held to elect the general chairman for the period 2025-2029," said PB AI statement.

In addition to the main agenda for the election of the general chairman, the National Conference will also discuss organizational work programs over the next four years with provincial level aquatic administrators (Pengprov).

The head of the PB AI Training Team as well as the Deputy General Chair for the PB AI Organization, Sarman Simanjorang, explained that one of the requirements to become a candidate for chairman is to at least get the support of 10 Pengprov who are still active during their tenure.

"Registration files can be taken at PB AI on March 3-5, 2025 and registration period on March 10-12 2025," said Sarman.

In addition to having to get at least 10 Pengprov support, candidates for general chairman can also be active people or have served as administrators of other sports parent provinces and are not undergoing a criminal process.

The figure that advances as a candidate for chairman must also be a sports figure, whose commitment to the development of national sports is unquestionable.

Candidates must also be willing to pay registration fees as a form of participation in the implementation of the 2025 Indonesia Aquatic National Conference amounting to Rp. 100 million rupiah.

Registration and submission of the candidate for chairman of PB AI was handed over directly by the caketum to the Chairperson of the Penjaringan Committee at the PB AI Secretariat, Jl. HR Rasuna Said Wisma Bakrie Building 1 Floor 2, Kuningan, Jakarta.
