Supporter Protests Add Tensions In AC Milan's Dressing Room
JAKARTA - AC Milan supporters protested after the defeat against Lazio 1-2 at the San Siro on Monday, March 3, 2025, early morning WIB.
AC Milan manager Sergio Conceicao described the pressure of supporters' protests as something he has never experienced in his career.
The hosts, who suffered their third consecutive defeat in Serie A, experienced a hostile atmosphere from fans, who protested club owners, with Curva Sud empty for the first 15 minutes.
"We discussed the atmosphere and it's the first time I've experienced it in my career. Mistakes feel more severe in such conditions."
"I'm a player, I know when it's like that, your boots feel like they're on fire."

"When the drift or bait doesn't work or you're left behind, it burns even more," Conceicao told DAZN.
Things got worse when Mattia Zaccagni put Lazio ahead in the first half.
Although Samuel Chukwueze equalized in the final minutes after Strahinja Pavlovic got a red card, Pedro scored a penalty for the visitors in the 98th minute after Mike Maignan fouled Gustav Isaksen.
"This is not an easy moment. The players feel the tension around the club. The only way forward is to work hard, be proud of the club's color, and try to change the situation," said the manager.
Milan are in ninth place in the standings with 41 points, after being overtaken by AS Roma who beat Como 2-1 on the same day.
While Lazio moved up to fourth with 50 points, one point ahead of Juventus who will host Hellas Verona on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
