Thailand 2025 MotoGP Qualification Results: Marc Marquez Opens This Season With Poles
JAKARTA - Marc Marquez managed to become the fastest in the 2025 Thailand MotoGP Qualification session at the Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, morning WIB.
The new racer Ducati Lenovo Team recorded a best time of 1:28,782 seconds. Interestingly, his younger brother, Alex Marquez, followed in second place. The Gresini rider managed to carve a time of 1:28,928 seconds.
Marc Marquez won pole position first to open MotoGP 2025. He had lost time in the second half of the round, but that didn't matter.
The eight-time world champion will start from the leading position in his debut with Ducati Lenovo.

Then, Francesco Bagnaia completed the front row start for the Sprint Race and the main race.
Jack Miller led the second row followed by newcomers Ai Ogura and Franco Morbidelli, who were awarded a penalty for driving slowly and disturbing Bagnaia in the Practice session.
Ai Ogura is in the fifth brilliant position for her debut in the first class.
Meanwhile, last season's MotoGP champion, Jorge Martin, was still absent after further hand injuries in training earlier this week. He was replaced by Aprilia tester Lorenzo Savadori, who won the bottom qualification result.
Then, Fabio at Giannantonio - who was also injured on the first day of the trial in Sepang - returned for VR46 and successfully completed the Qualification in 13th place.
Thailand's 2025 MotoGP main race will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, while the Sprint Race will take place today at 15.00 WIB.
