Amorim Gives Punishment To Garnacho: Pay All Team Members Dinner
JAKARTA - Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has revealed that Alejandro Garnacho will pay for the team's dinner after his decision to go straight to the dressing room in response not to be happy to be replaced in the first half in a win over Ipswich Town, Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Amoritam said he had spoken to Garnacho after the incident at Old Trafford.
The coach met the 20-year-old in training at Carrington on Friday, February 28, 2025.
An informal punishment was given to Garnacho. Amoram asked the Argentine to pay for dinner for his teammates and the matter would be closed.
"He came to me. It was funny because the next day he came to my office. I did an investigation."

"He said he went to the dressing room to change his clothes because he was wet. However, he watched the match, not on the bench. At the end of the match he was there (the dressing room) and went home."
"So, that's not a problem. However, at big clubs like Manchester United, everything is important and perception is also important."
"He will pay for dinner for the whole team, that's all," Amorim told a news conference on Friday, February 28, 2025.
Garnacho was replaced earlier as part of an ambism overhaul to address Patrick Dorgu's red card.
The Manchester United coach said Garnacho would be available to be selected in the FA Cup Fifth Round match against Fulham on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
However, Garnacho must first fight the injury he suffered against Ipswich.
"He hit a clash. When he was about to kick, he was blocked in the penalty box."
"I hope he is ready, but we'll see. He's a young man who will study. The important thing is the next morning he talks to me."
"We need to look at the little things while walking on the pitch. The players have to understand that the perception here is very important."
"I think he understands. They read everything, everything is small. I know the players pretty well."
"I understand they are frustrated. He was replaced, he played well. I'm just trying to help them become better players," said Amorim again.
