Real Madrid Confirms Dani Ceballos' Injury, 2 Months Absence
JAKARTA - Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos suffered a hamstring injury as the team prepares for a series of important matches in various competitions.
Los Blancos reported that Ceballos is predicted to be out for up to two months.
Ceballos limped at the end of the game when Real Madrid won 1-0 in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Real Sociedad on Thursday, February 27, 2025, after colliding with Takefusa Kubo striker.
After the player underwent the test, Real Madrid confirmed on Thursday, February 27, 2025, that Ceballos had an injury to his semimembranosus muscle in his left leg.
Ceballos has been a regular core player in recent weeks. Now he is not available as the club enters an important phase of the season.
Real Madrid, who are chasing the title, will travel to Real Betis, a former Ceballos club, in La Liga on Sunday, March 2, 2025, early morning WIB, before hosting Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"I'm so sad I can't help my team in such a very important part of the season."
"It's really sad because I had to stop at a time that I felt was my best moment. However, football is like that, not always easy, and even unfair."
"So, I have to face it with strength, with the desire to fight, and with the belief that I will come back stronger."
"It's not over yet. I've gone through a difficult time. See you later, faster than you thought," Ceballos wrote on social media.
Ceballos have made 15 appearances for Real Madrid in La Liga this season, 10 of them as starters.
He also played eight times in the Champions League, starting in both legs of the knockout stages against Manchester City.
Ceballos' absence made Real Madrid's treatment room never quiet. Previously, Eder Militao and Daniel Carvajal had already been sidelined until the end of this season.
