Getting To Know Heart Abses, A Disease Experienced By Hotman Paris

JAKARTA - Hotman Paris Hutapea's lawyer gave a statement about the cause behind his declining health condition. Initially, he thought the pain was caused by a crossing bite on February 8, 2025.

After undergoing treatment in Jakarta, Hotman decided to fly to Singapore with his wife to undergo further examination at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital.

The results of the examination of five specialist doctors at the hospital revealed that the infection experienced by Hotman was caused by abscess or pus in the liver, then spread to the blood and caused infection.

"Good news from five specialist doctors at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital: the cause of the infection is because there are pus in the liver (livers), whose bacteria enter the blood and cause blood infection," Hotman wrote, quoted from his personal Instagram account on Thursday, February 27.

With this result, Hotman emphasized that his illness was not related to the crossing bite as he had suspected. He also denied the assumption that his illness was caused by mystical things.

"So it's not because of a crossing bite and not because of a fake shaman," he said.

Currently, Hotman's condition is gradually improving. However, Hotman still had to consult further with a team of doctors before returning to Indonesia.
