Checking Basic Needs, Deputy Governor Rano Karno Ensures Safe Supply Of Meat And Food Materials Ahead Of Ramadan
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno reviewed the availability of basic necessities at cold storage Perumda Dharma Jaya and the Cipinang Rice Main Market, East Jakarta, Saturday, February 22. The Deputy Governor ensures that the supply of meat and food is safe ahead of Ramadan.
"I monitored everything, thank God, the amount of meat I did not say was a surplus, but more than Jakarta's needs. It made us safe," said Rano.
"Safe means hopefully we can maintain price stability. It is undeniable that every holiday prices will sometimes rise," he continued.
Rano said that currently the Jakarta Provincial Government will focus on providing food ahead of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
On this occasion, Rano was also accompanied by the Regional Secretary of DKI Marullah Matali, Head of the MSME Service Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Head of the KPKP Office Suharini Eliawati, President Director of Dharma Jaya Raditya Endira Budiman, and other ranks.

Rano also ensured that the provincial government (Pemprov) would continue to strive to maintain food stability. Both from prices and availability.
