Mercedes-Benz Inaugurates Launch Of Two G-Class Models In Indonesia, There Is An Electric Version

JAKARTA - PT Inchcape Indomobil Distribution Indonesia, as the sole agent of the Mercedes-Benz brand holder (ATPM), has revealed World Beyond.

At the same time, the company also launched two new models from the G-Class line, the All-New Electric G 580 Edition One, which focuses on environmentally friendly vehicles and the All-New Mercedes-AMG G 63 which has more performance.

PT Indomobil Distribution Indonesia's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Donald Rachmat, said that these two variants continue the brand tradition in presenting qualified offroad-capable vehicles.

"These two G-Class variants represent two different aspects of Mercedes-Benz DNA. The All-New Electric G 580 Edition One with EQ Technology shows our commitment to sustainable mobility, while The All-New Mercedes-AMG G 63 brings various typical Mercedes-Benz elements for the highest performing vehicle in its class," Donald said in a statement received on Saturday, February 22.

Speaking of its capabilities, the All-New Electric G 580 Edition One is armed with four electric motors that have up to 587 hp and a peak torque of 1,164 Nm. Armed with a 116 kWh battery, this boxy-designed car can cover a distance of up to 473 km in one charger.

Meanwhile, All-New Mercedes-AMG G 63 has a 4.0 liter V8 engine biturbo combined with a 48V mild-hybrid system that gives 585 hp and 850 Nm torque power.

Combined with AMG Speedshift TCT 9G transmission and 8 AMG Dynamic Select, this car provides more flexibility to drive in various conditions.
