Smart Paylater User Steps To Get Dream Residential Loans
JAKARTA - At the beginning of 2025, OJK announced its support for the Government's program regarding the provision of houses for the wider community, especially for Low-Income Communities (MBR) through the 3 million residential program.
This strategic policy was welcomed by the Paylater industry as one of the methods of lending to the public. However, there are several main factors that the public must pay attention to in order to make loans easier, some of which are managing status in the Financial Information Service System (SLIK), having credibility, the ability to pay loans, having collateral, and considering macroeconomic and industrial conditions. There are several concrete steps that prospective debtors can take to make it easier to get this housing loan.
For those who are not familiar with SLIK, this is a note regarding the history of bank debtors and other financial institutions. This note is in the form of information regarding whether or not the debtor's credit loan is smooth.
Although SLIK is not the sole determinant of lending, as a potential loan recipient, it is still important to keep the score of LYK by ensuring that the payment is on time, so that there are no arrears or defaults.
In addition, to ensure that the public can fulfill their credit obligations on time, the public needs to make a smart financial decision, namely to use credit with a maximum monthly installment of 30 percent of the monthly income received. Not finished here, when the obligation has been fulfilled, the debtor needs to check the status of his SLIK and get a repayment letter. Keep in mind that it takes time for the SLIK status to be updated according to the last status of the debtor.
