Zoho Encourages The Acceleration Of Digital Transformation In Indonesia
JAKARTA - A global technology company from India, Zoho Corporation, is pushing for the acceleration of digital transformation in Indonesia by presenting digital solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI). Thus, increasing access to business software to accelerate the adoption of digital solutions.
"The huge potential in the growth of SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions in the Indonesian business landscape. In the past year, Zoho has invested in training and improving features for his business software," said Vice President & General Manager of Asia Pacific Zoho, Gibu Mathew in his statement, Thursday, February 20.
Mathew also said that in August 2024, the Young Creator program by Zoho Creator was held again at the Sepuluh November Institute of Technology (ITS) in Surabaya with a wider program.
"For the first time globally, Zoho Creator training was given to 40 lecturers at the institute for Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) modules, which will later be included in the learning curriculum," said Gibu.
In November 2024, Zoho announced a strategic partnership with the National Movement for Digital Startups and Studio Indonesia Startups under the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs.
"This collaboration provides access to 1,500 startups to participate in the Zoho for Startups program. This program provides software solutions worth more than IDR 60 billion, enabling entrepreneurs to explore tools that suit their needs in various stages of business growth," added Gibu.
Zoho's series of business solutions are growing rapidly in Indonesia, with annual revenue growth exceeding 30 percent. As Zoho's adoption as a platform solution increases, businesses can access large corporate-class software designed to drive digital transformation and growth.
The integrated AI assistant from Zoho, Zia, enriched its application with Generative AI capabilities supported by ownership technology in the private cloud Zoho. Indonesia's AI National Strategy aims to increase AI's contribution to the economy, which is estimated to reach USD 366 billion against GDP by 2030, or around 12 percent of the total national GDP.
"With the increase in public and private spending in the information technology sector, Indonesia has great potential to achieve higher GDP growth. Zoho supports this vision by providing AI-based tools that increase productivity and business efficiency," said Gibu.
Some AI Zoho-based solutions include updating the CRM for Everyone, which facilitates customer travel by increasing communication and response to complaints.
Then, Zoho One, which is a comprehensive series of more than 40 applications, integrates business operations to increase productivity and work flow.

Meanwhile, Zoho Workplace fine-tunes writing and provides smart insights into documents.
Then, Zoho Desk used AI for ticket management and sentiment analysis, while Zoho Projects took advantage of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and integration with ChatGPT to provide recommendations for AI-based smart tasks and insight.
