Prabowo: We'll Meet At The Retret, The Regional Head Who Doubts Can Resign

President Prabowo Subianto advised hundreds of regional heads who had just been inaugurated simultaneously at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, to immediately take part in the retreat or briefing at the Military Academy, Magelang, on February 21, 2025.

In his brief remarks after inaugurating simultaneously 961 elected regional heads, President Prabowo said he would meet them again at the retreat, and appealed to them to be strong in carrying out the briefing.

"I don't think it will take long because we will meet in the retreat that will be carried out by the Minister of Home Affairs in Magelang. I will meet you there and hopefully you will be strong. Those who hesitate may resign," said President Prabowo as quoted by Antara.

Before ending his remarks, the President emphasized that the elected regional head was the choice of the people who would serve the people.

Therefore, the Head of State requested that regional heads be able to serve the people optimally.

"I say, let us serve the people, we do our best for our people," said the President.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto said that 40 ministers had been prepared for the retret or briefing of regional heads at the Military Academy (Akmil), Magelang, Central Java, starting February 21, 2025.

Bima explained that initially the Ministry of Home Affairs planned to present 48 ministers of the Red and White Cabinet (KMP) to become ministers.

However, the Ministry of Home Affairs considers the time for implementing a solid retreat and the need to present a speaker from the National Resilience Institution (Lemhannas) to discuss the insights of the archipelago and national resilience.
