Improve Health Services At AKA Medika Sribhawono Hospital, AIA With Dhuafa Wallet Develop Polyclinic

JAKARTA - Efforts to add health facilities in the Sribhawono area, East Lampung, Lampung continue to be intensified by PT AIA FINANCIAL (AIA) together with Dompet Dhuafa. The development of facilities at AKA Medika Sribhawono Hospital is expected to serve the needs of the community in the health sector.

Additional several polyclinics and waiting rooms from the collaboration between the Dompet Dhuafa Health Program with AIA through their virtue fund program show a real commitment by supporting the construction of AKA Medika Sribhawono Hospital. The approval of the Building was carried out on Friday, February 14, at AKA Medika Sribhawono Hospital, East Lampung, Lampung.

At the ratification, the President Director of AIA, Harsya Prasetyo; Director of RS AKA Medika Sribhawono drg. Endiki Surya Wira Pratama and Ahmad Juwaini as Chair of the Management of the Dompet Dhuafa Foundation Republika.

AIA President Director Harsya Prasetyo said health is at the heart of AIA's services. This commitment is not only realized through insurance services, but also through various initiatives that have a positive impact on the community, especially in the health sector.

"Therefore, the development of facilities at AKA Medika Sribhawono Hospital is an important step in ensuring access to better health services, comfortable with wider service coverage for the community," said Harsya, in a written statement, Wednesday, February 19.

In line with this, Ahmad Juwaini in his speech conveyed that the AKA Medika Hospital as a waqf asset was managed to produce Dompet Dhuafa to provide financial benefits and values for the Mauquf-Alaih group.

"We from Dompet Dhuafa today received a polyclinic mandate from AIA to become a health facility at the AKA Medika Sribhawono Hospital in Lampung, we also express our gratitude and appreciation to AIA for entrusting its mandate to us. Hopefully, RS AKA Medika Sribhawono can become a hospital that can continue to provide benefits and services to the community," said Ahmad Juwaini.

Previously, RS AKA Medika Sribhawono was on an area of 8,080 square meters, which has 102 beds for inpatients. Every month, this hospital is visited by around 1,500 to 1,700 patients. As many as 35 percent to 40 percent of these patients generally have to be hospitalized.

Now, RS AKA Medika Sribhawono already has various policies, such as Poli Orthopedi, Poli Penyakit Dalam, Poli Obgyn, Poli Anak, Poli Radiology/USG, Poli THT, Poli Saraf, Poli Paru, Poli Mata, Poli Gigi, Poli MCU, General Poli, and General Surgery Poli. The condition of a wider waiting room, equipped with air conditioning, and adequate lighting can support more excellent service.

"With the renovation, there was an addition to 13 poly thanks to the support from AIA, Alhamdulillah, the queues of patients are increasingly decomposed. Then the risk of infection is also getting less and Alhamdulillah, with this polyclinic it has also become centralized, then there are integrated poly, pharmaceuticals, registration, so that it becomes a well-integrated unit," said Director of RS AKA Medika Sribhawono, drg. Endiki Surya Wira Pratama.

RS. AKA Medika Sribhawono is a reference for many Public Health Centers and Clinics not only in Sribhawono District, but also from other areas. Since being designated as a Type C General Hospital in 2017 and has joined BPJS services. Currently, RS. AKA Medika Sribhawono has 31 inpatient rooms consisting of grade 1, grade 2, grade 3 and VIP, as well as 10 specialist doctors.

RS. AKA Medika Sribhawono is the second hospital managed by Dompet Dhuafa. This hospital will be based on productive waqf and cross-subsidies with other religious funds, namely zakaf, infaq, and alms. Various kinds of modern medical equipment facilities are available at this hospital.
