SIG Precision Interlock Bata Is A Solution For Qualityy And Environmentally Friendly Building Houses

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), Maruarar Sirait, emphasized the President Prabowo's government's commitment to providing quality subsidies to provide a sense of security and comfort for the community. Therefore, housing developers are encouraged to carry out housing development responsibly by paying attention to the quality of buildings and the environment.

"President Prabowo's directive is that subsidized houses must be built responsibly. Even though subsidized houses must still have quality so that people's expectations are not in vain or disappointed," said Maruarar Sirait during a meeting with the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir and housing developers at the Ministry of SOEs, on Monday, February 10.

Previously, at the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Thursday, February 6, Maruarar Sirait also encouraged the construction of housing, which is not only residents friendly, but also environmentally friendly as a form of participation in the housing sector in efforts to reduce carbon emissions and realize sustainable development in Indonesia.

Quoted from the 'Greenship Rating Tools' document compiled by the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI), it is explained that in addition to being wise in using land, efficient and effective in using energy and in using water, paying attention to the conservation of natural resource materials, as well as being healthy and safe for residents of homes, another important aspect of environmentally friendly homes is using environmentally friendly materials.

PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) presents green cement innovations produced with materials and environmentally friendly processes so that carbon emissions are lower by 38 percent compared to conventional cement, and have a high domestic content level (TKDN), more than 90 percent. SIG also encourages the use of green cement derivative products, namely precision interlock brick materials, as a solution to achieve the target of 3 million homes per year.

GIS President Director Donny Arsal said that the use of precision interlock bricks provides many benefits in housing development. In addition to being environmentally friendly because it is produced with GIS green cement, the use of precision interlock bricks makes the development process more efficient in the use of materials, easier in application so as to accelerate the duration of development, the quality of strong construction that is tested earthquake-friendly, is able to keep the air in the room cool, and provide modern final results.

"The precision interlock brick innovation is a breakthrough to build a more effective and efficient home, starting from the use of materials, such as cement and iron, as well as the use of water. The high-precision 1mm feature also provides a perfect elbow advantage and a smooth level surface. The precision interlock is GIS's real contribution to support the 3 million home program and realizing Asta Cita President Prabowo," said Donny Arsal, in his statement, Thursday, February 13.
