JCI Menguat Ke Level 6,700, Lima Saham Dikomendasikan

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) has the opportunity to strengthen to the level of 6,700 in today's trading, Thursday, February 13. In his research, Phintraco Sekuritas estimates that the JCI will move in the resistance range of 6,900, pivot 6,700, and support 6.550.

Phintraco Sekuritas explained that the majority of Wall Street's index weakened in trading last Wednesday. US inflation rose to 3.0% yoy in January 2025 from 2.9 percent yoy in December 2024.

"The increase in inflation is considered to validate hawkish the Fed's views regarding the policy of the benchmark interest rate in 2025," wrote Phintraco Sekuritas.

On the other hand, Phintraco Sekuritas said, the ECB actually assessed that the inflation rate in Europe was on the right track towards the ECB inflation target.

Phintraco Sekuritas added that coal prices are still continuing to weaken as China's plans to increase production to maintain supply stability in its country.

"Now the market anticipates data on producer inflation from retail sales in the US as data that has the potential to affect the establishment of the Fed regarding the direction of the benchmark interest rate," said Phintraco Sekuritas.

Phintraco Sekuritas added that the JCI yesterday recorded a technical rebound (1.74 percent) after the 6,550 level test which is believed to be the bottom level of various sentiments that suppress the JCI.

"IHSG today has the opportunity to continue the technical rebound to around 6,700," he explained.

Phintraco Sekuritas said, Indonesia recorded retail sales growth of 1.8 percent yoy in December 2024, up from 0.9 percent yoy in November 2024. Previously, the Consumer Confidence Index (IKK) was at 127.2 in January 2025, down slightly from 127.7 in December 2024.

"This builds confidence that consumption is still quite solid in January 2025, although it may not be as solid as in December 2024," explained Phintraco Sekuritas.

The stocks recommended by Phintraco Sekuritas today are AUTO, MBMA, LSIP, AMRT, and ACES.
