BNI Xpora Supports Tempe Producers From Bogor To Reach Exports To 10 Countries
JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is committed to supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to advance to class to be able to go global through the BNI Xpora program.
BNI Corporate Secretary, Okki Rushartomo, said that BNI Xpora is a BNI program in strengthening the export-oriented SME ecosystem aimed at Go Productive, Go Digital, and Go Global.
This program also makes it easier for Indonesian diaspora who work as entrepreneurs abroad to get products from Indonesia.
Until the end of December 2024, BNI's total export-oriented business credit outstanding reached IDR 33.6 trillion to 18,432 debtors. The value of trade transactions reached IDR 108.04 trillion.
"In the future, BNI will continue to support more export-oriented MSME players so that they can contribute more to the national economy," Okki said in a press release. Wednesday 12 February.
Tempe producer PT Azaki Food Internasional is one of the SMEs included in the BNI Xpora program.
Azaki Food, which has been established since 2005 in Bogor, has succeeded in transforming until its products penetrated the export market to 10 countries thanks to BNI Xpora's support.
Director of Azaki Food, Cucup Ruhiyat, revealed that his tempeh business was originally named Rumah Tempe Azaki. Then, in 2019, his business continued to grow and change its name to PT Azaki Food International (PT AFI).
Azaki Food continues to grow through the global market by making various innovations, fulfilling international certification, and strengthening managerial.
Currently, tempe products have been accepted as one of the healthy foods by the world community. Cucup admits, with the existing potential, management continues to focus on responding quickly to every available business opportunity.
"Today, Tempe Azaki products have controlled almost all modern markets in Jabodetabek and have been exported to 10 countries in the world, from Hong Kong, Japan, to the United States," said Cucup.

Cucup continued that the BNI Xpora program, which he has known since 2021, has contributed to its business development.
"It has a very impact because with the facilities from Xpora at the right time, Azaki can take advantage of every momentum of maximum development opportunities," said Cucup.
According to Cucip, BNI Xpora not only provides benefits to its efforts, but also for other MSME actors.
