Supported By Cheap Funds, BRI Books DPK Rp1,365 Trillion
BRI President Director, Sunarso said, from the deposits that were collected, it was dominated by low-cost funds or current account saving accounts (CASA) with a proportion of 67.30 percent or equivalent to Rp918.98 trillion.
"BRI's success in increasing CASA's portion in a sustainable manner cannot be separated from BRI's strategy to continue to focus on improving quality CASA, one of which is CASA which is based on transactions," said Sunarso, Wednesday, February 12.
Sunarso explained that BRI's CASA achievement was supported by the growth of BRImo Super App digital transactions, further strengthening BRI's position in digital banking services in Indonesia. Until the end of December 2024, the number of BRImo Super Apps users grew 22.12 percent yoy to 38.61 million users.
The volume of transactions processed through BRImo also recorded an increase of 34.57 percent yoy to Rp5,596 trillion.
Meanwhile, throughout 2024, BRI earned a consolidated net profit of IDR 60.64 trillion throughout 2024 or a slight increase from the 2023 profit which was recorded at IDR 60.4 trillion.

Meanwhile, BRI's total assets until the end of December 2024 reached IDR 1,992.98 trillion or grew 1.42 percent year on year (yoy). This growth is driven by selective and quality lending while still focusing on MSMEs.
