Sido Muncul Inaugurates Healthy Outlet At Bunda Margonda Hospital Depok

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) has reiterated its commitment to assisting the health and pharmaceutical sectors in the country. This time, Sido Muncul inaugurated the Sido Muncul Healthy Outlet at Bunda Margonda Hospital in Depok, on Saturday 8 February.

The presence of the 9th Sido Muncul Healthy Outlet in the country is a manifestation of Sido Muncul's innovation which aims to further introduce the efficacy of herbal medicines to the wider community.

Director of Sido Muncul Irwan Hidayat said the launch of the Sido Muncul Healthy Outlet at Bunda Margonda Hospital in Depok was a form of the ninth collaboration between Sido Muncul and the Hospital for the Sido Muncul Healthy Outlet program.

"The inauguration of the Sido Healthy Outlet Appears at Bunda Margonda Hospital in Depok is the ninth hospital. Previous collaboration with the Semarang Wilasa Panti Hospital, Bung Karno Hospital Solo, Banyumanik Hospital Semarang, Bali Mandara Hospital, Ari Canti Ubud Gianyar Bali Hospital, Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, Ukrida Hospital Jakarta, and Unggul Karsa Medika Hospital Bandung," said Irwan.

He added, through collaboration with the hospital, Sido Muncul wanted to introduce herbal medicine so that it could support public health.

"We want to present herbal medicine in an official hospital, so that patients have a choice of scientific-based alternative medicine," said Irwan Hidayat. The development of the research-based herbal medicine industry, Sido Muncul hopes that herbal medicine can be accepted more widely in formal health care systems. The herbal products available at the Healthy Outlet have gone through various stages of clinical trials and have high quality standards so that they can be used as medical treatment companions.

"Through this collaboration, we want Jamu as Indonesia's natural wealth to be increasingly accepted by the public and the medical world," said Irwan.

Furthermore, Irwan said, the Sido Muncul Healthy Outlet is a manifestation of a breakthrough to support patients getting recovery.

"This is a breakthrough to enter the hospital formally. We enter so that patients can determine alternative treatment themselves," said Irwan.

Irwan added that the products present at the outlets had passed and various stages of research, and the quality of production was maintained in accordance with applicable standards so that they could be admitted to the hospital.

According to him, with this collaboration, it is hoped that herbal medicines originating from Indonesia's natural wealth can be widely accepted and become a companion to formal health services.
