Good News Comes From Kendari, City Government Has Prepared Rp27 Billion For THR

JAKARTA - The Kendari City Government, Southeast Sulawesi, has prepared a fund of Rp27 billion to pay the holiday allowance (THR) for the state civil servants (ASN) within the Kendari City Government.

"However, we are still waiting for technical instructions from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia," said Kendari Mayor H Sulkarnain Kadir, Tuesday, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, April 20.

He said that the THR payment was an appreciation of the city government for the performance of ASNs who have dedicated themselves so far in the form of services to the community.

"Actually we want to distribute it as soon as possible, but there are no technical instructions regarding the mechanism," he said.

It was stated that the number of Civil Servants within the Kendari City Government reached 6,031 people consisting of 4,999 staff, 865 echelons IV, 167 echelons III, and the rest echelon II.

The mayor also reminded entrepreneurs in Kendari City to pay THR to their employees on time as arranged.

"THR must be given, it is mandatory in accordance with the law. But if the financial condition does not allow it to be discussed carefully with the workers. We all know the conditions," he concluded.
