Police Inspect 2 Agents In Cianjur Respond To Arrest 4 Suspects Oplos Gas 3 Kg State Loss Rp1 M
JAKARTA - The police are investigating the case of a subsidized 3 kilogram (kg) LPG gas supply which is suspected to have been supplied from a number of agents in Cianjur.
Cianjur Police Chief AKBP Rohman Yongky Dilatha said his party conducted an inspection with Pertamina today in response to the case of melon gas being mixed by arresting four suspects with a total loss of around Rp. 1 billion.
"We are developing and investigating the case, where the suspects received subsidized gas supplies from a number of agents in Cianjur, one of which we are investigating today, if it is proven that there is involvement, criminal sanctions will be imposed," he said in Cianjur, Friday, February 7, as reported by Antara.
Rohman said this inspection was carried out on two agents in Cianjur who were said to supply 3 kg LPG gas. The suspects who had been arrested had said they had received supplies from three agents in Cianjur, so it was suspected that agents were involved as suppliers of melon gas.
"We involve Pertamina in terms of trading procedures that are carried out according to procedures or not so that everything is clear, so that later criminal sanctions will be imposed when the results of the inspection prove the involvement of agents," he said.
Pertamina Rayon 2 Sukabumi SBM, Faris Aceriza, said he was ready to assist the investigation carried out by the police regarding the distribution carried out by agents and bases to the suspects in the voting when it was proven that strict action would be taken.
He explained that agents and bases that were proven to have distributed to the polling suspects, he said, would be terminated from Business Relations (PHU) so that his party would continue to monitor and monitor agents and bases in Cianjur.
"We will assist the police in developing and investigating the case of mixing that occurred in Cianjur, strict sanctions for the revocation of PHU if proven to be helpful by distributing subsidized gas cylinders to the perpetrators," he said.

As reported by the Cianjur Resort Police, arrested four suspects who mixed subsidized gas to non-subsidized villages in Campaka District, Sunday, February 2, with evidence of 435 gas cylinders measuring 3 kilograms, 109 12 kilograms of gas cylinders, and 56 kilograms of gas cylinders.
The four suspects with the initials G, R, Y, and A have carried out illegal activities to mix subsidized gas to non-subsidized ones since the past year, causing a loss to the state of around Rp. 1 billion.
The suspects will be charged with Article 40 points 9, Article 55 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2023 with a threat of 6 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 60 billion.
