West Java Residents Grateful For 3 Kg LPG Distribution Back To Normal

BANDUNG - Residents of West Java (West Java) are very grateful and welcome the distribution of 3 kilograms (kg) of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in their area has returned to normal after the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) perfected LPG 3 Kg sales governance by changing retail status to sub base.

One of Bekasi residents who is also a 3 kg LPG player, Yuli said a few days ago it was difficult to find the melon gas. But today he can easily get LPG 3 kg in his place.

"I've been around since yesterday, it's difficult. Thank God if I can sell (LPG 3 Kg) again. I can cook, I can sell again," Yuli told reporters, Wednesday, February 5.

The good news was also welcomed by other Bekasi residents, Iis said that 2 days ago he had to be willing to queue to get one melon gas. But today, this is no longer visible at the 3 Kg LPG base near his house.

"Yes, it's good if we can (buy) again in stalls. Yes, like this before, we have to go to an agent like that," said Iis.

Enthusiasm is also felt by residents in Bandung, Wida, who is a melon gas retailer, who admits that he is willing if he has to be a sub-base according to the rules imposed by the government.

"If there are new rules, it's okay, the important thing is clear, safe, calm for all of us. It's a pity, every time you come here (the representative) doesn't have a word for it. I also didn't get this (LPG 3 Kg) from Friday, "said Wida.

For three money, another retailer in Bandung, Silvia admitted to complying with government regulations regarding the new 3 kg LPG sales governance, as long as there is no shortage of goods, especially since it is approaching the holy month of Ramadan, where the need for melon gas increases.

"Yes, there are rules, it's okay. Just follow it first. Just follow it first, what will happen in the future. Because of this, there are so many people looking for everyone asking whether there is gas or not? No, there are times, yes," said Silvia.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) is moving quickly to respond to dynamics in the community regarding LPG 3 Kg sales governance by changing retailer status to sub base. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia said the regulation was carried out to prevent price games at retail level.

Bahlil announced that all 3 Kg LPG retailers in Indonesia around 375 thousand will be raised to sub-base status. This step aims to ensure that the distribution of subsidized LPG is right on target and prices remain affordable.
