Indicator Survey: 7 Ministers Considered Successful, Erick Thohir Ranks First

JAKARTA - A total of seven ministers in the Red and White Cabinet are seen as having the best performance in 100 days of President Prabowo Subianto's administration, according to a survey conducted by Indonesian Political Indicators entitled 'Public Evaluation of President Prabowo's 100-Day Performance and the Red and White Cabinet'.

Of the seven names, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir was observed to be ranked the most superior in the survey conducted face-to-face during January 16-21, 2025.

According to respondents, there have been seven names of ministers that have been quite successful over the past 100 days. Apart from Erick Thohir, six other names are Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, as well as Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.

Then Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, and Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Correction Yusril Ihza Mahendra.

Then, when offered to assess the seven names, respondents placed Erick Thohir in the top rank with a result of 14.2 percent, Sri Mulyani in second place with 13.2 percent, followed by Agus Yudhoyono (6.7 percent), Nasaruddin Umar (3.7 percent), Teddy Indra Wijaya (3.6 percent), Andi Amran Sulaiman (2.7 percent), and Yusril Ihza Mahendra (1.9 percent).

Political Indicator Burhanuddin Muhtadi said the assessment was influenced by respondents' awareness of the names of assistants to the president.

"So that when we give a list of names, even though the community is not reduced significantly by the names that are perceived as positive," he said, quoted on Wednesday, January 29.

Burhanuddin added that the satisfaction of these respondents took pictures of the strong harmonious relationship between the government and the community.

In fact, according to him, the 100-day performance has become a major political capital for President Prabowo's government and is better than the previous two heads of state.

"This indicates that the political honeymoon with the public is not over yet. This is a bit different if we compare it with the previous government," he said.
