South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Explains The Reasons For The Case Handled By The Former Head Of South Jakarta Metro Criminal Investigation Unit Had Mandek

South Jakarta Metro Police Chief (Jaksel), Kombes Ade Rahmat Idnal confirmed that the case handled by the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police (Jaksel), AKBP Bintaro in April 2024 had stopped. The case is related to the murder of ABG at a hotel in the Kebayoran Baru area.

"The reasons concerned are technical and coordination such as fulfilling the P19, expert witnesses, and others," said Ade Rahmat when confirmed, Tuesday, January 28.

He said the ABG murder case at a hotel in the Kebayoran Baru area had stalled for five months. However, when the South Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit was changed from Bintoro to AKBP Gogo Galesung, the case file was finally completed and declared complete (P21).

"5 months (the case is stagnant). (Then) December 16, 2024, the new Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, AKBP Gogo Galesung," he said.

Meanwhile, Bintoro is suspected of extorting the suspect in the murder and son of the Prodia boss worth IDR 5 billion.

The alleged extortion case worth IDR 5 billion against the son of the Prodia laboratory clinic network boss, Arif Nugroho (AN) alias Bastian is still attracting public attention.

The reason is, it is suspected that the police officer who carried out the extortion was the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro.

Bintoro is suspected of extorting money so that the investigation into the murder and rape of AP's child (16) by the suspect Arif is not continued.
