Perpetrators Of Women's Mutilation In Ngawi Arrested

Members of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the East Java Police arrested the perpetrators of the mutilation of the woman's corpse in a suitcase found in Ngawi.

"Alhamdulillah, we managed to arrest the perpetrators of the mutilation last night (Saturday, 25/1) around 24.00," said Director of Criminal Investigation at the East Java Police, Kombes Pol Farman, confirmed in Surabaya, Sunday, January 26.

Currently, continued Farman, the perpetrator is still in the process of being investigated. Meanwhile, regarding the identity of the perpetrator, the chronology of the incident, the motive for the murder of mutilation to arrest, Farman has not been able to reveal further.

"We will release it later," he said.

Previously, the discovery of a corpse in a suitcase shocked the residents of Dadapan Village, Kendal District, Ngawi Regency, on Thursday morning (23/1).

The Ngawi Police Satreskrim together with the Forensic Medical Team have conducted a post-mortem. The victim is strongly suspected of being a victim of a mutilation crime.

The Ngawi Police Chief, AKBP Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto, went directly to the location and reviewed the autopsy process at Dr. Soeroto Hospital at 14:40 WIB.

According to Dwi, the preliminary results showed that the victim's body was missing.

"The body found is only in the form of a body. The left leg of the groin is missing, as well as the right leg from the knee to the bottom, as well as the victim's head," said Dwi.
