High School Student Izada Learns About World Leadership Sciences Through AYIMUN Platform
JAKARTA - A total of 14 students from SMA Izada, South Tangerang, participated in the Asia Youth International Model United Nation (AYIMUN) which took place on 17-20 January 2025, in Kuala Lumpur. At this activity, students had the opportunity to study international leadership to sharpen their oriented critical mindset to provide benefits and goodness to the citizens of the world.
"It is an honor for us to participate in SMA students Izada at the 2025 AYIMUN event. From this platform, students can practice critical thinking and diplomacy like representatives at the United Nations to provide ideas to solve problems that occur in the world in line with the school's vision, namely realizing a strong and trustworthy True Leader," said SMA Principal Izada Tanti Farianti, quoted Friday, January 24.
AYIMUN is a platform for young people around the world to learn, collaborate, and develop in an atmosphere of international diplomatic simulations.
The training model used on this platform aims to increase awareness and deep understanding of global issues, inspire the leadership of the younger generation, foster understanding the importance of international cooperation, train communication, diplomacy, and negotiate.
Then build tolerance and understanding between cultures, as well as invite the younger generation to actively participate and contribute to global issues that are being faced.
Tanti added that students were deployed to several discussion groups discussing employment issues (ILO), climate change (UNFCCC), social, humanitarian and cultural issues (SOCHUM), and human rights (UNHRC).

"The participants also understand the work mechanism of international organizations such as the United Nations. Critical thinking is an extraordinary soft skill and is needed as provision for the younger generation in the future. AYIMUN's activities are in line with the vision and mission of SMA Izada who wants to produce a strong and trustworthy candidate for leader," he said.
By becoming a participant in AYIMUN, Atina Nurrahmannisa Syam, SMA Siswi Izada, said that she and other friends could understand various global issues that are of concern to the world today, including thinking about solutions.
"It turns out that so many global problems need to be overcome with innovative solutions. Active participation of the younger generation can contribute to solving these problems. Following AYIMUN 2025 is a very valuable experience for me," he said.
