Pertamina Patra Niaga Ensures Energy Supply During Chinese New Year Is Safe
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that energy supplies meet the needs of the community during the Chinese New Year celebration period on January 29, 2025.
Pertamina's Director of Central and Commercial Marketing Patra Niaga Maya Kusmaya said the company, through the Supadio Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT), had carried out its initial Avtur refueling at Singkawang Airport, West Kalimantan, for Airbus A320 Super Air Jet aircraft and Airbus A320 Transnusa Aviation Mandiri type Airbus A320 on Monday, January 20.
"This strategic step was taken to support flight operations at the new airport, especially ahead of the Chinese New Year celebration, to support community mobility and increase economic and tourism potential in the West Kalimantan region," he said in a statement in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Thursday, January 23.
According to him, Pertamina's presence at Singkawang Airport is a tangible manifestation of supporting the growth of air transportation in Indonesia, including the West Kalimantan region.
"Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that the supply of avtur at Singkawang Airport and all airports in West Kalimantan is in a safe condition. We continue to manage energy distribution well, including through support from AFT Supadio to ensure smooth flight operations, especially ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday period," he said.
Furthermore, Maya said Pertamina Patra Niaga supports the operation of Singkawang Airport by alerting a refueller car with a tank capacity of 16,000 liters.
This commitment aims to ensure the smooth operation of flights and maintain energy supply in a sustainable manner.
Super Air Jet and Transnusa Aviation Mandiri flights serve the Jakarta-Singkawang PP charter route every day until January 31, 2025.

Starting February 2025, flight routes are planned to become regular to support the needs of the community, economic growth, and various tourism activities in Singkawang and its surroundings.
Maya added that nationally, Pertamina Patra Niaga currently manages 72 aircraft charging depots (DPPU), spread throughout Indonesia to ensure the availability of avtur for domestic and international flight needs.
