Political Party Cadres In Central Lombok NTB Detained By Police Case Of Forgery Of S1 Certificate

The Central Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit, NTB, officially detained one of the political party cadres (Parpol) with the initials S after being named a suspect in a general criminal case of alleged forgery of the S1 diploma.

"Brother S has fulfilled the first summons sent, the results of the investigation from investigators that the actions committed by the suspect fulfilled the criminal element of the articles applied so that he was named a suspect," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Iptu Luk il Maqnum in Central Lombok, Antara, Thursday, January 23.

The determination of the suspect was carried out after his party conducted a series of investigations, collected evidence and examined witnesses including expert witnesses from a university.

"A total of 12 witnesses we have questioned, including expert witnesses from the Mataram University (Mataram), besides that we also confiscated various important documents as evidence," he said.

Therefore, said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, his party immediately detained the suspect brother S at the Central Lombok Police Headquarters Rutan.

"For his actions, we suspect the suspect under Article 264 Paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code or Article 263 Paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 8 years," he said.

Kasat Reskrim said this was a commitment and consistency of the Central Lombok Police of the NTB Police in responding to every report from the public. "We urge residents to maintain regional conduciveness," he said.
