The Central Java Police K-9 Team Finds The Body Of A 5-month-old Baby Buried In Pekalongan Land

PEKALONGAN - Central Java Police deployed a K-9 team to search for victims of the longsot land disaster that occurred in Pekalongan Regency. As a result, the body of a five-month-old baby was found.

"The body was immediately taken to the main post," said member of SAR Bumi Santri Pekalongan, Agus Yusuf, Thursday, January 23.

The baby's body was found covered with a scarf. To be precise, under the mattress that was caught in a bamboo tree, near the flow of water.

During the evacuation process, the baby's family witnessed firsthand. The tears were unstoppable when the K-9 team found the child's whereabouts.

"The victim's uncle cried hysterically when he was found," said Agus.

It is known that the mother of the baby also became the victim of death from the natural disaster while her father, whose whereabouts are not yet known.

Until now, the search for victims of landslides and flash floods is still being carried out by the joint SAR team.

Based on data as of Wednesday, January 22, the number of victims of the Pekalongan landslide who had been found dead was 21 people. While 5 people are still being searched.
