Murder Case In Gambir, Police Will Hold Exhumation

JAKARTA - The police plan to conduct an exhumation or grave excavation from RKY (42), a murder victim in Duri Pulo, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the exhumation process was carried out because the victim's body had not been autopsied due to refusal from the family

"In the near future, investigators will conduct a grave excavation," Ade told reporters, Wednesday, January 22.

The exhumation process was carried out to examine the body parts of the victim. The autopsy is intended to find the location of the expansion due to the stabbing carried out by the suspect.

"The internal examination of the body was carried out," said Ade.

In this case, the stabbing perpetrator U has been arrested. From the examination and the results of the investigation, it was revealed that the perpetrator was the brother-in-law of the victim.

"Brother U is the brother-in-law of the victim and it took a long time for U to be arrested by colleagues from the Resmob Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya," said Ade.

But it has not been clearly conveyed about the location of U's arrest. Investigators who have carried out the examination have decided to determine him as a suspect.

"Currently, Brother U has been named a suspect, and the investigation process at Resmob is still ongoing," said Ade.
