Regarding The Polemic Of Sea Pagar, The KPK Is Open If Invited By The Ombudsman To Conduct Investigations

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has invited the Ombudsman to submit data related to the mysterious 30.16 kilometer sea fence in Tangerang, Banten. This institution is ready if invited to investigate the polemic that has occurred, including the question of whether there are allegations of corruption.

This was conveyed by the Chairman of the KPK, Setyo Budiyanto, when asked about the Ombudsman's statement which stated that there was potential for maladministration to corruption related to the process of issuing building rights (HGB) and property rights certificates (SHM) at the location of the sea fence.

"Later, we will see what the progress will be. Maybe if necessary, the Ombudsman can convey it to us," Setyo told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 22.

Setyo explained that there must be data or reports that come in so that investigations can be carried out. Moreover, currently a number of parties are investigating the mysterious sea fence.

But it is certain that the KPK will monitor Setyo. "We have not received the details of the information. Just information," he said.

The Chairman of the Ombudsman Muhammad Najih said the potential for maladministration and corruption was open in the process of issuing HGB and SHM in the sea fence area. This information also continues to be rejected from a number of parties examined in the polemic.

"Well, in the nursery there is maladministration or not. If there is, it could be potential later if we find it, it could not only be maladministration, but also there could be a KKN there," said Najih, Wednesday, January 22.

Previously reported, the Government through the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid admitted that there were building rights (HGB) and certificates of property rights (SHM) from the mysterious sea fence.

According to him, there are 263 fields in the form of SHGB. The details are 234 fields in the name of PT Intan Agung Makmur; 20 fields in the name of PT Cahaya Inti Sentosa; and 9 more fields in the name of individuals.

In addition, there is also SHM issued in the sea fence area with a total of 17 fields. The location is also in accordance with the BHUMI ATR/BPN application, namely in Kohod Village, Pakuhaji, Tangerang.

Kementerian ATR kemudian berjanji tegas terhadap pihak yang terlibat dalam penerbitan sertifikat-sertifikat itu jika ada aturan yang dilanggar.
