The Public Prosecutor Prepares A Letter Of Indictment Of Ex-Ma Official Zarof Ricar In The Alleged Bribery Case Of Ronald Tannur
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has handed over Zarof Ricar, a former Supreme Court (MA) official and a suspect in the alleged bribery case handling the Ronald Tannur case to the public prosecutor (JPU) of the South Jakarta District Attorney (Kejari).
"On Thursday (January 16), the Jampidsus investigating team of prosecutors handed over the suspect's responsibility and evidence (phase II) for the suspect ZR," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) at the AGO Harli Siregar in his statement, Friday, January 17, quoted by Antara.
Harli said, after the implementation of phase II, the Public Prosecutor will start compiling the indictment.
"The Public Prosecutor's Team will soon prepare a Letter of Indictment for the transfer of the case file to the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN)," he said.
Previously, he said, a letter of appointment of the prosecutor with the number PRIN-275/M.1.14/Ft.1/01/2025 had been issued dated January 16, 2025, on behalf of Zarof Ricar.
Thus, the former Head of the Balitbang Kumdil MA will undergo prosecution at the Salemba Detention Center at the AGO branch from January 16, 2025 to February 4, 2025.

It is known that Zarof Ricar (ZR) was named a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the form of bribery or gratification in handling the case for Ronald Tannur's case at the cassation level.
Director of Investigation at Jampidsus AGO Abdul Qohar explained that Zarof together with Lisa Rahmat (LR) as Ronald Tannur's lawyer.
"LR asked ZR to seek Supreme Court justices to continue to declare Ronald Tannur innocent in his cassation decision," said Qohar.
Lisa promised Rp5 billion for the three Supreme Court justices with the initials S, A, and S, while Zarof was promised a salary of Rp1 billion for his services.
However, Qohar said, Zarof had not given the money to the three judges.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court's audit team found the fact that Zarof Ricar had met with Supreme Court Justice Soesilo (S) as chairman of the assembly who handled the cassation case.
According to the team of examiners, Zarof briefly met Soesilo at the inauguration of the honoris causa professor at Makassar State University on September 27, 2024, and had mentioned Ronald Tannur's cassation, but Soesilo did not respond to Zarof.
