Polda Metro Add 40 Mobile ETLE In 2025
JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Polda Metro Jaya will add mobile ETLE (Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement) cameras in 2025. The number is about 40 cameras.
The addition of dozens of mobile ETLE cameras is said to be assistance from the Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov).
"Hopefully in 2025 we will also receive assistance from the local government, which is around 40 ETLE mobile," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman to reporters, Friday, January 17.
So far, it is said, the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya has only had ten ETLE mobiles. Although the number is small, the use is quite optimal.
Moreover, it is assisted by the existence of hundreds of static ETLEs spread throughout the Jakarta area.
"Our arena and infrastructure have 132 static ETLE, there are 10 mobile ETLE," he said.
With this addition, supervision of traffic rules violators will be maximized. Thus, the community will be more orderly in driving.
"People canport on safe, comfortable, and safe roads," said Latif.
