Joint Team Searches For Retired TNI Cars That Fall Into The Sea
The joint apparatus team is said to be still looking for the whereabouts of the car driven by Brigadier General (Ret.) Hendrawan Ostevan during the incident plunged into the sea from the Marunda pier.
The search for the car is suspected to be in order to obtain items that can be used as clues to reveal the cause of the death of the retired TNI soldier.
"It is still being investigated. Until yesterday, the search process or evacuation efforts for the victim's vehicle were still being carried out," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Thursday, January 16.
The joint team involved in the search process is the Directorate of Water and Air Police (Ditpolairud) Polda Metro Jaya, Polres Tanjung Priok Port, Basarnas, TNI Navy, and DKI Provincial Government.

While monitoring the results of the CCTV footage, Ade could not convey in detail on the grounds that it was still in the deepening stage. However, referring to Hendrawan Ostevan's video footage, it appears that he was driving a Toyota Vios car.
Then, entering the pier area of PT KCN Marunda and following Kade 07-08 to the end of the pier until it plunged into the sea, on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at around 00.35 WIB.
So far, it has only been stated that the cause of Hendrawan Ostevan's death was not due to acts of violence. Because, no injuries were found on his body
"There were no injuries found on the victim's body," said Ade.
