Air Attack Hits Yemen's Hezyaz Power Plant

JAKARTA - Airstrikes targeted the Hezyaz, Sanaa, Yemen power plant. There have been no reports of the attacker.

British security firm Ambrey previously said it received reports of ongoing airstrikes in the Houthi-controlled Yemen region including Ras Issa port, Yemen's main oil export terminal.

As reported by Reuters on Friday, January 10, the Houthis have repeatedly fired drones and missiles at Israel and launched attacks on international shipping in waters near Yemen since November 2023, to support Palestine over Israel's war with Hamas.

Israel retaliated with airstrikes, as did Britain and the United States.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last month Israel had just started its military operation against the Houthis.
