PKL Container Corruption Case In Palangka Raya Makes State Loss Of IDR 1.2 Billion
PALANGKA RAYA - The alleged corruption case in the manufacture of containers for street vendors (PKL) on Jalan Yos Sudarso, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan, for the 2017 Fiscal Year through the Public Housing and Settlement Service of the local city, cost the state Rp1.2 billion.
Head of Public Relations of the Central Kalimantan Police, Kombes Erlan Munaji, said that the case involved four suspects, namely SFEP as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK), AG as the executor of the work, YB as the Regional General Treasurer (BUD) of Palangka Raya City and their investigation was P21 and stage II.
"Meanwhile, SAS as the Head of the Palangka Raya City ULP Working Group IV is also a suspect in the case, the file is also stage II and will be submitted to the Public Prosecutor," Erlan said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 8.
The actions of the suspect SAS carried out the auction and appointment of the winner of the auction that was not in accordance with the provisions for the procurement of government goods and services in the work package for making containers for street vendors on Jalan Yos Sudarso at the end of 2017 through the Palangka Raya City Public Housing and Settlement Office.
From the suspect's actions, the work process in the field was carried out not in accordance with the existing contracts, namely the implementation of the work was carried out entirely by other parties and the results of the work did not match the specifications stated in the contract.
"So that after an audit of the calculation of state financial losses by the Central Kalimantan Representative BPKP, the calculation results in the form of state/regional financial losses amounted to Rp1,286,127,300.00," he said.
