Rows Of Korean Artists Make Donations For Victims Of Air Jeju Air Air Air Plane Accidents

JAKARTA - South Korea is currently in mourning after the Jeju Air plane crash at Muan International Airport killed 179 people on Sunday, December 29, 2024. This tragic incident saddened the public, including celebrities.

Some of the country's artists even gave donations to the victims of the Jeju Air plane. Donations are given for the purpose of helping the victims and supporting their families.

Reporting from Soompi, on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, comedian Park Na Rae donated some money to the victims of the Jeju Air plane crash. He is reportedly specifically contacting the local government to make donations, the amount of which is not disclosed to the public.

Park Na Rae himself was born in Muan, the location of the plane crash occurred as well as his hometown. Apart from donating, he has also expressed his condolences regarding this incident through his social media accounts.

One of Lovelyz's girl group members, Jin, also donated some money for the victims of the Jeju Air plane crash. He made the donation through the Korean Red Cross. Through his social media upload, Jin also expressed his condolences and said he was very sad about the tragic incident.

I heard the news about the terrible accident. My heart hurts so much. I would like to express my deepest condolences to the victims and their families who died in this sudden accident. We will mourn for now," said Jin Lovelyz.

The star of the Squid Game 2 series, namely Im Siwan, donated a sum of money to help the victims of the Jeju Air plane passengers. He made his contribution through Hope Bridge, an association for disaster relief. The amount of money donated by Im Siwan was also not disclosed to the public.

Rapper DinDin delivered a donation for Jeju Air victims through the Korean Red Cross. He donated 10 million won or equivalent to Rp109 million. DinDin admitted that he was very sad about the incident that occurred at the end of the year and hoped to provide assistance.

"Every time I end my year, I write words of hope and gratitude. But this year I have nothing but a tough heart. It is said that it will take a lot of time to fix the plane's disaster. I hope we can help," said DinDin on his social media.

Sports broadcaster who also performed at Transit Love 2, Lee Nayeon also donated 10 million won or Rp109 million through the Korean Red Cross for the victims of Jeju Air. He hopes that the donation can help the victims and as an expression of his condolences.
