Two Motorcycle Thieves In The Field Were Shot When They Were At Women's House

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Medan Baru Police, Medan Police, North Sumatra shot two motorcycle theft perpetrators who tried to escape during construction at the house of a woman dealer, in the Medan Marelan area.

"The two suspects who were given firm and measured action, namely FO (38) residents of Cinta Karya Street, Sari Rejo Regency, Subdistrict of Medan Polonia, and SH (32) residents of Starban Street, Kelurahan Polonia, District of Medan Polonia," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Medan Baru Inspector Irwansyah Sitorus reported on Thursday, April 15.

He said that the motorbike theft incident occurred at Mesjid Street, Angrung Regency, Medan Polonia District (Hermes Warehouse).

Then the officer received information that the suspect FO would cross Polonia Street Medan.

"Then the security forces pursued the suspect and secured him. When the personnel interrogated the suspect, he confessed to his actions and collaborated with his friend SH, and an arrest was made on Starban Street Medan," he said.

Irwansyah said officers secured evidence of 1 unit of black Yamaha Mio motorcycle BK 3199 AFO (the vehicle used by the suspect), 1 unit of blue Oppo cellphone wrapped in green condoms (replacement BB/proceeds of crime), and 1 black-white-colored shirt (substitute BB/proceeds of crime).

During the interrogation of SH that the motorcycle he had stolen had been sold to a woman in Marelan.

The team built a house at the shelter for the stolen motorbike, but it was not found.

Officers searched the house, and the two suspects tried to escape, so they were shot in the leg of the perpetrator.

"The two suspects were taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital in Medan for medical treatment," he also said.
