The 2025 Beauty Trend Focuses On Natural Care And Advanced Technology For Healthy Skin
JAKARTA - The beauty trend in 2025 is predicted to lead to a more natural approach and advanced technology. This tendency reflects the shift from invasive procedures to safer and more effective skin care, with results that look natural and do not change the face drastically.
Beauty experts estimate that by 2025, society will further prioritize better skin quality and technology that supports non-invasive care, which offers long-term results without risky side effects.
Doctors who are members of the Indonesian Association of Aesthetic Doctors, dr. Cynthia Jayanto M. Biomed (AAM), revealed the trend of body and skin care, especially for women, which will dominate in 2025.
Quoting ANTARA, Cynthia said that skin rejuvenation treatment will be one of the main drivers of beauty trends.
Treatments such as chemical peeling, microneedling, laser therapy, facial rejuvenation, Salmon DNA injection, as well as the use of botox and filler are predicted to continue to be favored by the public.
Most individuals who choose non-invasive care want to address problems such as wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, dull skin, and sagging skin. Cynthia added that this trend reflects changes in people's mindsets, which now prefer procedures that provide natural and less drastic results.
"The public now avoids surgical procedures and tends to choose treatment that maintains the shape of the face and skin type, without changing it excessively," he said.
In addition, this trend is also influenced by public awareness of safety in beauty treatments. Incidents such as illegal beauty practices that are risky and cause death, as well as the use of extreme beauty products, further encourage many people to seek safer and more quality-secured treatments.

As a result, treatments such as skin booster and collagen stimulator are expected to be more popular, because both can stimulate natural collagen production, so that facial skin becomes healthier, more chewy, and looks youthful.
"In 2025, people will prefer natural makeup, such as the no-makeup look, which highlights their original beauty," Cynthia said. In addition, beauty care tools such as laser machines for hair removal, ultrasound machines (HIFUs), and scamming tools will continue to be in demand, mainly due to the influence of celebrities and influencers who often use these tools. These machines provide rapid and effective results without requiring long recovery times.
However, while non-invasive beauty treatments are growing, Cynthia believes that minimal invasive treatments such as facelifts, microneedling, and hair transplants will still be relevant. "For some people who want instant results, treatment like this will still be an option, although it is not the main choice for many people," he added.
In choosing a beauty clinic, Cynthia reminded the importance of examining the credibility of clinics and doctors. The public is advised to ensure that clinics have official permission from the health office and doctors who practice have a valid permit.
A trusted clinic will usually display a practice permit in the waiting room, while a doctor's permit can be verified through the official website of the Indonesian Doctors Association.
