Medical Personnel And Teachers Evacuated Due To KKB Terror, Deputy Governor Of Papua: Don't Confuse Security
JAYAPURA - Papua Deputy Governor (Deputy Governor) Klemen Tinal is concerned that health workers and teachers must be evacuated from Beoga District, Puncak Regency because of the security situation after the terror of armed criminal group (KKB).
"Teachers in Beoga educate children in the area, don't be confused, how can the children progress if security conditions are like this," Klemen said in Jayapura as quoted by Antara, Thursday, April 15.
According to Klemen, whatever reason the armed criminal group (KKB) shot a teacher to death in Beoga is wrong.
"To be called a spy or whatever, it is not right to shoot the teacher," he said.
Klemen explained that for the safety of other residents in the area if they must be evacuated then they are welcome.
"Even so, the security forces will secure the area in the future," he continued.
Klemen added that his party regretted the acts of violence that were carried out, whatever the reason, they were not justified.
Earlier, Thursday, April 8, KKB carried out a shooting at a kiosk in Julukoma Village. As a result, Oktovianus Rayo, teacher of Inpres Beoga Elementary School was shot dead.
