Snoop Dogg And Dr. Dre Implements Interpolation From Children's Works With Learning Disorders

JAKARTA - The combination of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre has hit the hip hop music scene again. Through the album Missionary, the two of them again presented works that stole the show.

Not only cool, Snoop and Dre also show a caring attitude. This is reflected in the collaboration song between the two entitled Outta Da Blue which was released along with her album last December 13.

They implemented a musical sampling or interpolation of a song called Watermelon Fantasy Daro Daylight Studio. The London-based studio is a creation space for children with learning disorders to be able to express their expressions through music.

First introduced in 2018, Watermelon Fantasy featured the creations of children with special needs in audio and visual form. Tina Bruins, one of those involved in the production of Watermelon Fantasy, was surprised when she found out that her work was implemented by the two hip hop music icons from the United States.

"I was surprised. I remember thinking: 'What?' I didn't know it would be released by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. I don't think so, I think it's just a fantasy," he told The Guardian, citing NME on December 29.

Missionary is a phenomenal work at the end of 2024. Apart from Snoop Dogg, this album is also supported by several other artists including Eminem and 50 Cent.
