Prevent Brawls On New Year's Eve, East Jakarta Police Large-Scale Patrol

The East Jakarta Metro Police will carry out large-scale patrols to secure the night of the turn of the year 2024-2025.

The large-scale patrol focused on disturbances to Kamtibmas such as street crimes to brawls on New Year's Eve.

"To anticipate brawls, we will increase patrol activities," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Friday, December 27.

Kombes Nicolas said that the brawls that occurred in the East Jakarta area were a special concern, especially in several areas where brawls often occurred.

"It is our concern, in places where brawls usually occur or frequent, such as the Basura area, in the Singkong Gardens area, Deprok Market, and also other places," he said.

Until now, he continued, there has been no disturbance of security and public order (Kamtibmas) such as brawls.

"And until now I say, everything is still safe under control and smoothly," he said.
