Good News From Lampung, Incentives For Health Workers 2020 Has Completely Been Paid

JAKARTA - Representatives of the Lampung Province Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) stated that the incentives for health workers in this area in 2020 have been fully paid.

"We were given directions to supervise and control incentives to all local governments, and incentives for health workers in 2020 have been paid", said Head of BPKP Lampung Representative, Sumitro in Bandarlampung, Thursday, reported by Antara, Thursday, April 15.

He said the incentive payments for health workers in the amount of IDR 106.8 billion had been made from the end of 2020 to February 2021.

"Indeed, there was a delay in payment, but currently, the local government has paid all the incentives", he also said.

According to him, for the 2021 fiscal year, there have been a number of regions that have allocated their funds for incentives for health workers, but some have not yet budgeted them, so they are expected to accelerate budget allocations as soon as possible.

"These health workers have been working hard and we continue to push for the acceleration of budget transfers by local governments, based on temporary data for the 2021 budget there is IDR 10.9 billion and is expected to continue to grow", he said.

Previously, the BPKP of the Republic of Indonesia had completed a review of the incentives for health workers in 2020, and the completion of formal document requirements for the arrears from health facilities and institutions that proposed being the main factor so that the incentives could be paid immediately.

The incentive for health workers will target 97.715 health workers throughout Indonesia, while in Lampung, based on data from the Lampung Provincial Health Office, there are 5.112 health workers.
