Danpuspom TNI: A Total Of 254 TNI Members Were Fired For Drug Cases

A total of 254 members of the TNI were involved in drug abuse throughout 2024.

This was conveyed by the Commander of the Central Military Police (Danpuspom) TNI, Major General (Mayjen) TNI Yusri Nuryanto at the office of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) RI, East Jakarta.

"There are about 254 cases handled related to drugs. So if it is related to drugs, the commander-in-chief is not playing games," said Major General Yusri, Monday, December 23, 2024.

A total of 254 TNI members involved in drugs were dismissed.

"The sanction is to fire. So there are about 254 cases that we have doubled to military court representatives," he said.

TNI Major General Yusri said the TNI would continue to be committed to synergizing with BNN in preventing and taking action against drugs.

Apart from BNN, the TNI also synergizes with the Police and Customs and Excise.
