MicroStrategy Nyerok 15,350 Bitcoins Again, Now Has 439,000 BTC

JAKARTA - The technology company, led by Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy, has just announced its latest Bitcoin purchase, which has increased their total holdings to 439,000 BTC. The purchases were made in the period 9 to 15 December 2024, with a total of 15,350 BTC worth about 1.5 billion US dollars (Rp24 trillion).

Each Bitcoin coin was purchased at an average price of 100,386 US dollars (Rp1.6 billion), indicating that the company remains aggressive in accumulating Bitcoin even though the crypto price has reached its highest level.

Although the current price of Bitcoin has crossed its new historical (ATH) high at $ 106 thousand, MicroStrategy is still optimistic in the future of Bitcoin and does not plan to stop acquiring it. With total Bitcoin holdings now reaching 439,000 BTC, MicroStrategy is the leading public company with the most Bitcoins in the world.

According to CryptoQuant analyst Maartunn, MicroStrategy has made six Bitcoin purchases in recent months. This latest purchase does look smaller than previous purchases in terms of Bitcoin amount, but in terms of dollar value, this purchase is the largest as Bitcoin prices continue to rise.

In its latest purchase, MicroStrategy is willing to spend a lot of money to buy Bitcoin from the start which reached 27.1 billion US dollars (Rp 434 trillion), with an average price of 61,725 US dollars (Rp988 million) per Bitcoin.

The investment strategy run by Michael Saylor and his team seems to be starting to show positive results. Currently, with Bitcoin prices continuing to rise, MicroStrategy is expected to have benefited more than 72% of their investment.
