Mardiono: Don't Let Mukernas Participants Mention The Name Of The Caketum

Acting Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Muhamad Mardiono confirmed that the PPP II National Working Conference (Mukernas) in Ancol, North Jakarta, did not discuss the candidate for chairman of the party.

"That in this Mukernas I underline, I do not at all discuss the candidate for chairman," said Mardiono in response to the press after the National Working Meeting, Saturday night.

Mardiono said that this time the Mukernas discussed several issues, including the discourse on replacing AD/ART and preparing to hold the X Congress which was estimated after Lebaran 2025.

Mardiono admitted that he did not know the reason why the names of the PPP General Chair candidates appeared in several mass media recently.

The crowd in the mass media will exchange candidates for chairman of PPP, continued Mardiono, inversely proportional to the conditions that occurred in the Mukernas.

"Not a single participant in this Mukernas mentions the candidates for general chairman. Never mind up to three, four or one, not even once, nothing is said and these mukernas participants are part of the party's sovereign rights holders," said Mardiono.

However, Mardiono did not rule out the possibility that later PPP would have a new leader, even those from outside the party.

Even though the opportunity is open, Mardiono still thinks it is difficult to happen.

This, he added, is because it needs someone who knows the dynamics and internal map of the party to be able to lead PPP.

"In the view that my thoughts and colleagues are difficult to understand. Cadres who have served for decades alone are not necessarily able to understand totality, let alone for example others. But occasionally again, it doesn't close," said Mardiono.
