Pram-Rano's Vote Reaches 50.07 Percent, Puan: Alhamdulillah, God Willing One Round

JAKARTA - PDIP Party Central Excutive Board (DPP) Chairwoman, Puan Maharani is grateful that the gubernatorial candidate pair supported by her party, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, won the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

Based on the results of the vote recapitulation counted by the General Elections Commission (KPU), Pram-Rano's vote acquisition reached 50.07 percent.

"Alhamdulillah, God willing," said Puan at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 10.

Puan is optimistic that Pram-Rano can win one round and be officially declared as the governor and deputy governor of Jakarta for the 2024-2029 period.

"God willing," said the House of Representatives (DPR) Chairwoman.

As is known, based on the results of the vote recapitulation counted by the General Election Commission (KPU), the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno Pair won the Jakarta regional head election (Pilkada).

In the recapitulation in each region, the Pramono-Rano pair won in six regions, namely the Seribu Islands, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, East Jakarta, and South Jakarta.

Pramono-Rano won 2,183,239 votes, which is equivalent to 50.07 percent of the total valid votes counted.

Meanwhile, the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair collected 1,718,160 votes or 39.40 percent. Meanwhile, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana pocketed 459,230 or 10.53 percent.

Therefore, if we only look at the results in these six regions, the DKI Jakarta Pilkada could only be one round. This is because the Pramono-Rano pair is already ahead by 50 percent plus one vote
