Wearing An Official Uniform, Aipda R Who Was Suspected Of Shooting Students In Semarang To Death Undergoes Ethics Trial

The Profession and Security Division of the Central Java Police held a professional ethics trial against Aipda R, a member of the Semarang City Police, suspected of shooting a student at SMKN 4 Semarang City with the initials GRO until he died.

Aipda R entered the Propam Division courtroom at the Central Java Police Headquarters in Semarang, in an official uniform and was escorted by four provost members.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Artanto, said that the ethics trial was chaired by AKBP Edhie Sulistyo, a middle officer from the Central Java Police's Narcotics Investigation Directorate.

"The trial was also attended by the families of the victims and witnesses," he said in Semarang as quoted by Antara, Monday, December 9.

According to him, the trial was also monitored directly by members of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas). Artanto could not confirm how long the ethics trial took. Meanwhile, Kompolnas member Muhammad Choirul Anam said his agency was invited to follow the ethics trial of police officers who shot students in Semarang.

According to Chorul, the spirit of transparency and professionalism shown by the Central Java Police will be seen in more detail from start to finish. After the ethics trial, in the near future, the determination of the suspect will be followed by the determination of the suspect in the criminal process.

The resident of Kembangarum, Semarang City, was buried by his family in Sragen on Sunday (24/11) afternoon. Aipda R, a police officer suspected of shooting the student, has been detained and undergoing legal proceedings.

Meanwhile, the GRO family has officially reported the alleged murder to the Central Java Regional Police.
