Israel Again Violates Ceasefire In Lebanon, 5 People Killed In Beit Lif
JAKARTA - Five people were killed and five others injured in Israeli airstrikes that hit a house in the city of Beit Lif, South Lebanon, on Saturday 7 December evening local wkatu.
According to Anadolu records via Antara, according to data from the Ministry of Health and the Lebanese National News Agency, the number of victims of violations of the ceasefire by Israel in Lebanon has now reached 20 people killed and 24 others injured.
Israeli warplanes launched an attack targeting a house on the outskirts of Beit Lif, Bint Jbeil district, Nabatieh province, the Lebanese National News Agency reported.
The attack left five people dead and five others injured.
Rescue teams halted search operations due to a shortage of equipment needed to lift debris, according to reports from the news agency.
In addition to the attack, Israeli soldiers on Saturday, December 7 also destroyed houses and buildings in the city of Khiam, which caused a major explosion and thick puffs of smoke, the Lebanese news agency reported.
With these three latest offenses, the number of ceasefire violations by Israel since its enactment 10 days ago has reached 158 incidents.

On November 27, a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon came into force in hopes of ending the 14 months of conflict between the Israeli army and Hezbollah.
However, the ceasefire was described as fragile, as nearly 150 Israeli violations had been documented by the Lebanese side.
According to ceasefire provisions, Israel is required to withdraw its troops to the south of the Blue Line, the de facto border, gradually, while Lebanese troops must be deployed in South Lebanon within 60 days.
The implementation of the deal will be monitored by the United States and France, although details of the enforcement mechanism are still unclear.
Since October 2023, more than 4,000 people have been killed, more than 16,500 injured, and more than 1 million have been displaced by Israeli attacks in Lebanon, according to Lebanese health authorities.
