Google Reveals 10 Popular Ways For Indonesians To Use Gemini AI

JAKARTA Google said that Gemini received good reception from people in various countries, especially Indonesia. From Google's internal data, this chatbot really supports everyday life.

This Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based assistant is often used to increase imagination and creativity, encourage productivity, and realize user ideas. From some things to achieve, users have various ways of utilizing Gemini.

Jules Walter, Gemini's Group Product Manager, says that users in Indonesia access Gemini in ten different ways. At the top, users often use Gemini for academic assistance, such as overcoming difficult or complicated problems.

"I've been talking to students over the past few days, (they) said that Gemini made it easier to learn complicated material," Jules said before the Gemini Master Challenge event on Thursday, December 5. "We also see people use it to come up with ideas and exchange ideas."

Apart from learning, many users also use Gemini just for chatting or building conversations. This is done because Gemini can be used for chatting casually, asking for interpersonal advice, to asking for advice on careers.

Next, Gemini is widely used to develop ideas, especially when users are running out of ideas. This chatbot can also search to summarize the content of a content, create AI-based media art through Imagen 3, and write.

Jules Walter also explained that sometimes Gemini users in Indonesia use this assistant as a translation tool, both text and voice. In addition, Gemini is also often used to help coding or provide shopping advice.

"We believe Gemini can help in various use cases and that people can produce various types of prompts. So, it is very interesting to see the types of prompts made by people in Indonesia," Jules said.
