"From the results of the evaluation of the joint response team, hydrometeorological disasters are dominated by landslides. However, the worst impact was caused by the flood disaster," said Ade, quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, December 5.

The latest data on cases of hydrometeorological disasters for landslides occurred at 63 points, 30 flood points, 15 strong winds, and land movement at 16 points.

Then for the number of victims affected by the disaster as many as 167 families (KK) with 437 people and 92 families or 238 people displaced. Furthermore, the number of residents threatened by the disaster was 140 families with 230 people. One person died and two people are still being searched.

On Thursday, the Governor of West Java together with Danrem 061 Suryakencana and a number of other officials conducted a direct review of the disaster site.

Ade said that emergency assistance had begun to be distributed in stages to the victims, especially for survivors of the land movement disaster in Cikembar District.

He also reminded the public to increase vigilance because Sukabumi Regency is in the extreme weather red zone in the next few days. Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds with long durations has the potential to increase disaster risk.

"People living in vulnerable areas, such as coastal, riverbanks, and hills, are expected to be on standby to reduce potential losses or casualties," said Ade.
