First Implementing Gross Split, Harbor Energy And Mubadala Sign The WK Central Andaman Contract
JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia witnessed the signing of the Central Andaman Oil and Gas Working Area (WK Migas) contract, the first WK Migas with the New Gross Split scheme.
The signatures were carried out by the Head of the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Activities (SKK Migas) and the Cooperation Contract Contract Contractors Consortium (KKKS), namely Harbor Energy Central Andaman Ltd. and Mubadala Energy (Central Andaman) Rsc Ltd.
Plt. Director General of Oil and Gas Dadan Kusdiana said the signing of the WK Migas Contract marked the Government's efforts to increase oil and gas lifting, in accordance with President Prabowo's direction in an effort to achieve energy self-sufficiency.
Dadan said that the WK Central Andaman contract is a new history for oil and gas sector investment, because it is a contract with the first New Gross Split scheme, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 13 of 2024 concerning the Gross Split Revenue Sharing Contract.

WK Central Andaman will be operated by Harbour Energy Central Andaman Ltd. The KKKS consortium has paid a signature bonus of 300,000 US dollars and submitted an Implementation Guarantee of 1.5 million US dollars.
Previously, WK Central Andaman was a WK who was included in the 2024 Migas Working Area Auction along with WK Amanah, and WK Melati in South Kuta, Bali.
